Mon Aimee Chocolat Tastings

PITTSBURGH LIKES CHOCOLATE: TASTINGS FILLED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF POSTING. WE’LL TRY TO TALK MON AMEE CHOCOLAT INTO ANOTHER IN THE FALL.

What: Chocolate Tasting

Where: Mon Aimee Chocolat, 2101 Penn Avenue in the Strip District

When: March 25 and March 30, 2008

Cost: $16 includes tax and gratuity

START WITH a glass of bubbly. Taste and learn in a casual setting. Compare premium, single-origin chocolates from various points of the globe. Yep, chocolate has terroir too. Sample artisan bonbons by top makers, including a memorable confection by a P-burgh pastry chef. A surprise chocolate not yet on the market. Special requests honored if possible. Shop afterward if you like.

TEACHER is Amy Rosenfield-- mild-mannered maestro of Mon Aimee Chocolat. Ms. Rosenfield's little store in the Strip is acknowledged to have one of the country's outstanding collections of premium chocolate. THANKS, AMY!
