Of Course U Can!: PICKLES!

Of Course you CAN! Pickling class is Sunday, July 21, 1-3 pm
Join as at the Fern Hollow Nature Center
Learn new and old pickles

Registration $20 or $15 for students. (Be prepared to show student ID.)

You will learn to make:
Grandma Rubin's Dills--with Miriam Rubin (We'll have copies of Mirian's new book, "Tomatoes," to see and buy.)

Susie Treon's Sweet Pickle Chips--with SFP's Amy Baer
New! Pickled Cauliflower with Master Pickler Nancy Hanst
New! Pickled Vegetable Slaw from The Smitten Kitchen

Midway through, we will pause for our:
Ploughman's Lunch--we'll have:
All pickles taught in class, a spread of Western Pennsylvania farmstead cheeses from PaMADE, Mediterra crusty farm breads and iced tea.

You might be the lucky one to take home a giant basket of canning supplies with a canning book or two.
