Churchview Farm - super special al fresco dinner at the farm

will give a super special al fresco dinner at the farm
to help Slow Food Pittsburgh fund their trip to Turin.
The party is: SATURDAY, July 26, 6:30 p.m.  (yes, really)  
Please join us.  
$95 includes food, drink, tax and gratuity.
  
Chef Kate will create a one-of-a-kind multi-course meal with wine pairings,
products from the farm at the height of the growing season and
locally sourced meats and cheeses.

  Talented chef and farmer team Kate Romane and Tara Rocacy will do Pittsburgh proud
as representatives to Terra Madre's 6th biennial global congress of growers, 
producers, artisans and chefs in Turin, Italy, this October. 
 
They'll also attend the Salone del Gusto, a global food fair of the highest order, 
presenting the world's finest food traditions and the people who craft them. 
 
They'll bring back a
world view of sustainability 
and food tradition 
and they'll blog about what they're learning 
as they are learning it.
 
Slow Food Pittsburgh endorses "The Chef and the Farmer" 
as the kind of messengers our city needs to send to mark Pittsburgh's emergence 
as a progressive and healthy place to live.
