What’s fresh this week?


Farmer market produce
PRODUCE:
Veggies: Tomatoes and More Tomatoes—heirlooms, Sun Golds. Corn. Eggplant. Cukes. Peppers—sweet & hot. Garlic, onions, scallions, leeks. Zukes, crook-neck squash. Cabbage, carrots, certified organic fingerling potatoes. Salad, braising mix, chard, kale, escarole.

Herbs: Parsley, rosemary, basil—multiple kinds, lemon grass, dill, leaf fennel.

Fruit: certified organic melons, limited elderberries—for juice, jam, etc., Honey Crisp, Gala apples.

Mushrooms: regulars.

Honey: Polish Hill honey—see the live bee show!

Cut Flowers: Field-flower bouquets, more.

PROTEIN:
Laptop lamb orders for those who didn’t get lamb last Laptop. Chickens/grass-fed beef. Sara's wild-caught sockeye, "Seabeef," king salmon, halibut, some smoked lox.

Limited pastured eggs.

DAIRY:
East End Food Co-op with Frank White’s raw milk in half gallons, raw milk, farmstead cheeses.

PREPARED FOODS:
Najat’s Cuisine--small-batch Lebanese cuisine. Stuffed hot peppers. "Hot" baba ganouj with jalapeno, green olive and parsley. Falafel. Hand pies, hummus and baba “improvs”, also pastries. Mediterra Mike will have traveling cakes, scones, breads, pastries—Sandy’s in Greece! La Prima Fair Trade coffee.
